Simple and clean vintage stamped washboard. Use it as a decoration when not using it for laundry. Made in the USA.
- Made of 100% Ohio Poplar wood and Stainless Steel spiral crimped metal, both sourced within Ohio. No glue or fillers added.
- Eco-friendly using less water and no electricity compared to the washing machine.
- Less harsh on clothes than the washing machine, prolonging the useful wear of your clothing. Tougher on stubborn stains yet tender enough for delicates.
- Still individually made, in the USA, by the Columbus Washboard Co., est 1895. We are the last and only washboard company left in America.
- 1) Put water in a tub until ½ or ¾ full, add clothing into water to soak. 2) Rub clothing over a bar of laundry soap, then rub the clothing on the metal rub surface. Remove and rinse clothing. 3) Remove washboard from water, rinse, and dry when finished with laundry.
