This is a low cost, high quality filter compatible with Everpure replacement selections I40002, part # EV9612-32. This filter set is rated for an impressive 36,000 gallon capacity with a maximum flow rate of 5.0 gallons per minute. It is recommended to change this cartridge set annually at minimum. The KWE-i4000 is comprised of activated carbon which is compressed into a rigid carbon block. This design provides dirt / sediment filtration, taste odor chlorine adsorption and chemical removal. Also the phosphate ingredient protects ice machines and beverage equipment by reducing scale which will protect the distribution lines, evaporator plate and pump. The KW2520BR sediment filter protects the 3 filters downstream by trapping all dirt, rust and sediment down to 5 microns.
