Vintage French country kitchen towel red stripe large white classic monogram

This listing is for a French style kitchen towel with classic red stripes and a tiny embroidered monogram AD.The towel is made of a sturdy linen or linen blend fabric and is quite large. It measures 54 x 22". The red stripes placed about 2 1/2" from the edge of the towel measure approximately 3/4" wide. Whether this towel actually is from France, it is hard to tell, but it certainly has that feel of traditional French linens. There is a ribbon tab for hanging in one corner. The monogram, if yo don't particularly care for it, would be easy to remove. I don't see any dye transfer around it, thus, if it is removed, there wouldn't be any traces of it left on the towel.

This piece is in good vintage condition. Aside from minor manufacturing imperfections and one very faint small spot measuring roughly 3/8", there are no other issues to report.
